About Emily
Hello, my name is Emily, and I am in my fourth year of college studying Nursing at California State University, Long Beach. During my college journey thus far, I have taken and enjoyed a wide variety of science courses. I am very passionate about science and would love to help others to enjoy it as well.
- I offer tutoring in biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and microbiology. Please inquire if you are interested in being tutored on another subject, and I may be able to provide other services.
-While my main focus is on science, I can provide guidance on time management, efficient study techniques, test-taking strategies, and note-taking. Performing well in school is about more than just memorization, and cultivating these skills will further aid in your success.
- I am eager to teach students of any age or grade level, including elementary through college.
- I am only offering online tutoring at this time for both the safety of my students and myself.

When working with a new student, I like to have a brief meeting with the student to discuss what their goals are for our tutoring sessions so I can best tailor my services to their needs. I go over what topics they are struggling with as well as topics they are proficient in. Overall, I like to get a general idea of where the student is at so I can provide them with the tools they need to succeed.
