About Hira
Hello, my name is Hira Tassawar and I am here to help students in time of need during this pandemic! I have been voluntarily tutoring kids for the past few years mostly in English/Writing/Basic sciences and Elementary/Middle school math. I love helping others, so teaching makes me very happy!
I graduated Rutgers University (NB) in May 2018 with a degree in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry (MBB) with a minor in Art. I was working as an OBGYN Medical Scribe at Mount Sinai for the past 2 years and I am currently applying to Physician Assistant Programs to become a PA.
I love helping people in general (hence my interest in healthcare and medicine) but it's very rewarding to help students accomplish their learning goals because I was once in their position.

I would ask the student what they think their best learning style is, but I would try to incorporate a few different styles of teaching in the beginning to gauge which one they respond to the best. I would then morph my teaching style based on the individual experience of the student.
