Sherry, the founder of this studio, is a highly experienced, professionally trained designer and calligrapher. Handwriting every invitation, Sherry can present you with thoughtful, meticulously crafted stationery for your special day.

Couples interested in Calligraphy by Sherry are welcome to meet or speak with this designer for a more in-depth insight into her services. Along with hand-crafted wedding invitations, Sherry also offers menus, place cards, and a range of other thoughtfully designed stationery. Delivering nationwide, this studio is open to be enjoyed by couples throughout the country.

Calligraphy by Sherry offers personalized stationery packages based on your needs and budget. They provide a range of invitation services which include envelope addressing, hand-written RSVP cards, and assembly. Adding to your ceremony or reception, this company can transcribe quotes or poems as a special part of your decor. Their special touches continue to your table settings with place-card and menu lettering. Beyond the wedding day, they look after the special details of other special events such as birthdays and quinceaneras. Their services are available nationwide.

I was asked by numerous students to offer a Calligraphy-101 Class and I started teaching in student's homes and also at community colleges.

I attended Parsons School of Design in NYC where I majored in both Calligraphy and Graphics.

About the lesson

I will work with a new student at my home or theirs. We start with basic knowledge of nibs and positioning of pen points. We then cover a-z lower case alphabet (usually Italics). Student usually has a good grasp of calligraphy within two-hour class.

If you want classic and refined wedding invitations that will stand out from the computer printed style internet invitations you see everywhere today, this is the way to go. I chose to have Sherry do all of my invitations, reply cards and name cards 20 years ago and would do the same today. Having the writing done by hand made all of the wedding decor consistent and elegant. Sherry did a beautiful job !

If you want classic and refined wedding invitations that will stand out from the computer printed style internet invitations you see everywhere today, this is the way to go. I chose to have Sherry do all of my invitations, reply cards and name cards 20 years ago and would do the same today. Having the writing done by hand made all of the wedding decor consistent and elegant. Sherry did a beautiful job !

My daughter was married in a castle with all the trimmings: period costumes, court jesters, etc. Sherry’s calligraphied invitations, cards and other pieces of unique art tied everything together and added so much to the festivities
