About Howard

Currently teaching seniors and young students (average age is 8-10 years old) Strong background in teaching and playing chess and avid player for over 50 yrs. Currently semi -retired and scheduling can accomodate your needs.

I also have 50+ years shooting pool with over 20 video's on YouTube providing instructions on aiming, position and shooting technique. Instructions at your neighborhood pool hall.

Teaching and providing my experience to someone to benefit there interest. I play chess and learn new things almost daily for over 50 yrs! Great game to see your own achievements gradually getting better.

Have started in a volunteering capacity as I was working and now due to retirement, actively teaching

Have BA College Deg, very active in the Chess community and currently teach both youngsters and older players.

About the lesson

Active with study plans depending on skills of the students and work with audio/visuals as well as board activity to learn the fundamentals of playing chess.

Ages from 5 yres old to 12 is the average and groups of 8 children at a session.

Student should be committed and will to "want" to learn Chess and also able to spend the time learning out of class.

Have had parents acknowledge my teaching of their children with very positive results and feedback.
