About Taylor
I offer solutions that help students learn not only what they need to succeed in class but also to help them prepare for the future. Because I have professional industry experience, I know what skills are crucial to succeed in the workplace and can help students learn what they need to stand out in the hiring market. I've been working professionally for 8 years and hold multiple certifications in Agile Scrum Methodology (CSM, ACSM, and CSPO). I'm currently an MBA Candidate and am in the second year of my program. I always refresh my skills to ensure that I am aligned with the latest trends, particularly in web design and development. I have tutored multiple students over the years, both in computer science and in English. I will always tailor my methods to adapt to the needs of my student. It is very important to me to ensure that learning fun!

I fully enjoy helping people learn and watching them come to realizations on their one. In my full-time job, I take on the role of a servant-leader of sorts - guiding people to make the right choices and discover the answers on their own. In turn, I employ these same principles in my tutoring. It is so gratifying to watch someone discover the answers to their own questions and guide them on the right path.

I like to have a preliminary conversation with them before we engage in a tutoring session. It is important for me to understand their background, the material they are going to be learning, where they have the most difficulties, and how they learn best. Once I have this background information, I can prepare for our upcoming tutoring sessions and devise the correct strategy specific to my student.
I have worked with mostly college students and business professionals and have no problem working with highschool students either. I've worked with both native and non-native English speakers. One of my passions is learning languages, so I have an open mind and am able to communicate ideas easily to people who might struggle with English.
