My friends and family got me started in the realm of fishing while my mother and sisters helped inspire me in the kitchen. Family and friends getting behind my dreams and aspirations have been priceless for an individual like myself. We use to go to Canada every year on family fishing trips and I loved every minute of it. Fishing is so much more than catching fish and posting pictures, its about family, friends, relationships, learning, taking risks, and having fun. Cooking is a family affair as well and studies show that families are spending less and less time in the kitchen and less time preparing food. Cooking is a hobby that my mother and I share together. So, I have learned a lot from her and really enjoy the time her and I spend together in the kitchen

About the lesson

When working with a new or inexperienced client I offer all the knowledge I have to make trips as safe, fun, and memorable as possible.

On Water Adventures

With Kayaking Trips, I always give paddle instruction, a river safety rundown, what our goals and standards are as a whole and for the trip. I explain my training and certifications, explain and outline the Waiver Forms that they sign and get a good background of their history and experience on the water. With Fly Fishing, we go over all the same objects except we discuss and outline Wading Safety Techniques, River Reading, and what to do in the event of a fall. With Jet Boat Trips we go over boat safety and our Emergency Action Plan. Top Water has a comprehensive Waiver Form, Insurance Coverage, and Emergency Action Plan that outlines and details in depth each of our Specific Trip Safety Plans and Instructions.

I have worked with and trained many individuals from all types of backgrounds, temperaments, personalities, experiences, ages, and experience levels.
