About Kristen
My Vibrant Life is committed to promoting overall wellness and self-sufficiency through culinary education. I believe cooking at home is superior in nutrition, extremely fulfilling, economical and fun. Sharing a meal with loved ones is an ancient tradition which strengthens our connection with one another. I have taken cooking instruction in other countries as well as here in the United States and I thoroughly enjoy sharing and teaching others in a fun way. ( even teenagers😊)

I hosted potlucks and other events many people wanted to learn how to make the dishes that I was starving so I started offering classes then I branched out to other locations.
Culinary experience as well as a culinary education as well as training in Nutrition and classes abroad. I am also Serv safe certified. I have extra training in gardening permaculture and specific dietary restrictions, herbs and healing foods.i am good at baking as well. One of my most popular classes is a sourdough making class .

After a quick assessment of what skills the student wants to learn and what skills the student already has I create a fun curriculum and we get started cooking and learning .
Children, adolescents, adults
Many of my cooking students are looking to learn basic kitchen skills or learn to cook for newly adopted dietary restrictions.
Teaching three lovely young ladies how to bake sourdough bread in their home that had a beautiful garden. We had a wonderful time.
