About Judi
Whne my classes are in person, they are very interactive. I like to get my students up and helping with the cooking or chopping. I love to pass ingredients around so that students can smell them, feel them and taste them. They really get a sense of why things work together.
I love teaching because I love the look on my students face when they truly learn something and understand why it works.
It started as a fun thing to do with friends and word spread and it grew from there.
I went to The Restaurant School, in Philadelphia for culinary arts and restaurant management.
I have taught many classes over the last 15 years.

I like to be as interactive as possible. I like to have my students doing the chopping and we talk about knives. I like to get them stirring the pot, then they can see what texture we are looking for. I'm teaching but the more they can do the better they will learn.
If a student wants a demo class that's fine too.
I'v worked with every type of students from girl scouts to couples. I've done wedding showers and birthday parties.
I had a customerr request a class where every part of a meal had to have chocolate in it. It was really fun to get creative.

Details
I charge $35 a person for online classes.
For in person classes, my pricing starts at $50 a person and goes up from there. It really depends on the menu, if I'm travelling or they are coming to me and how many people in the class.
