About Leslie
I can teach anyone to draw or paint, using basic, traditional and non-traditional thoughtful techniques that are relaxed and easy to follow, easy to understand for satisfying results and great success!
I specialize in beginning art students.
I am a Certified Art Teacher in New York an in Florida. I have over 20 years of teaching experience in the classroom with students of all ages and ability levels, ages 5-18.
I enjoy watching the happy expressions on my student's faces as they are learning and experiencing the magic of Art. 😊🎨🌈⭐️☀️🎈
I was always the "teacher's pet" when I was attending school because I loved helping other students learn the material.
Teaching was a natural choice for me.
I am a Certified Art Teacher in New York and in Florida with over 20 years of classroom teaching experience with students of all ages and ability levels.

I like to learn a little about the student's art background, interests and goals.
We gain a rapport, by discussing a little about both of our art backgrounds, interests and goals.
Then we start with very easy, very effective drawing techniques. Drawing technique is the basis for all other art.
After a certain, individual level of ability/mastery (using baby steps) is achieved, then we will encorporate painting techniques.
Then we will put it all together to create beautiful, satisfying art.
I have worked with students of all ages, backgrounds, interests and ability levels.
I recommend selecting a teacher who is very patient, knowledgeable and fun, in their subject area, especially for Art.
