About Ann
I have more than 30 years of teaching experience. I also have a degree in studio art. I am 83 years, a professional artist and still enjoy teaching, especially older students.
My suggestion would be to try four sessions. If I furnish the supplies, I would charge $45 per class. If you were to buy your supplies(which I would suggest you do) each class would be $35. This is for a two-hour class. If you had to miss a session, Iyou could make it up another day, without extra charges. Four classes would be $120 without supplies. I can tell you what supplies you would need to keep your costs down and where to buy them. My goal is to get students to being able to paint on their own. Afterwards, I can teach them better by seeing their work, their mistakes and teaching them how to correct them. This works best when the student decides they need help solving drawing or painting problems or wants to learn something new. Thanks for inquiring, Ann Hamilton

i have a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Athens and an Associate Degree from Northeast Alabama Community College. I also studied under Michael Cruise at the University of Alabama. I have taken numerous workshops and have had private lessons.

First, I get to know them and what they already know about art. The, I ask them what they would like to learn and accomplish. I give them a tour of my home explaining the style of art, medium and history of the works of art hanging on the walls.
