About Wendy
I offer art lessons for all levels and specialize in a variety of artistic media - oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, graphite, & more. Whether you want to create pictorial or abstract art, I can help and have been teaching for two decades. I want you to enjoy your artistic journey as you learn a specific set of skills. Making art is meant to be fun!
I enjoy watching the joy on student's faces as they gain confidence in their skills.
I started teaching at the University of Minnesota as a teaching assistant.
I have a doctorate in historical painting methodologies. This means that I have both restored and replicated various compositions for almost three decades. My profession necessitates that I am highly skilled in a variety of artistic mediums and able to create drawings and paintings of various sizes, ranging from a 6" x 8" canvas to a 40' x 60' theatrical backdrop.

Details
I have two price tiers for children and adults. I charge $20 for a 30-minute children's lesson and $40 for a 60-minute children's lesson. Adult lessons are priced individually and depenedent on class size and specific art media, but typically range from $30- $45/hour. Private lessons at individuals homes are independently priced on location and schedule.
