About Chris

I feel a great deal of satisfaction and joy when I can help a student produce a work of art that they doubted they could complete to a level that they would be happy with.

I enjoy being a part of a students artistic journey and improving with them as we work together. It's also a lot of fun painting and working with other artists.

I starting teaching my wife's grandmother. I had a great time painting with her, sharing my knowledge and helping her create art.

I have attendended many workshops and classes in my artistic pursuits. In addition to this training I attend open studios weekly to improve my ability in painting and drawing.

About the lesson

I normally ask the student what they are interested in and what their artistic goals are. If they want to try a lesson and see if they like the medium I will supply the materials and have them supply the subject. I will then help them with their painting or drawing.

If a student is interested in several classes I will find out what their goal is and plan a curriculum that will help them work towards it.

I have worked with students of all ages. They are normally beginner to intermediate artists.

Make sure the style of the teachers art is something you want in your art. Also, students should think about what their goals are. If as a student you want to excell at drawing or portraits or landscapes the teacher should be able to produce exceptional landscapes, drawings or protraits.

I charge 65.00 for a single lesson and offer a discount for four. A lesson will normally last around two hours.
