About Alex
I take a slow approach, and pay attention to what you can improve on and help you through each technique/skill so we can move onto the next lesson. There is no judgment, and no errors.
I enjoy the satisfaction of helping my students fully realize their potential as artists! It is my true belief that anyone is capable of anything, and I want to do my best to share the lessons I've gathered so you can confidently flip through sketchbooks and canvases to show your family, and friends. Everyone is capable of art, it just takes practice and a good support system/teacher!
I've been a visual artist for 10 years. I was put into a gallery for Ringwood Manor in 2019, and won an award for my piece, "Drowner". I also won a portfolio award from Lyme Academy when I was 17. I work mostly in oil paint and in charcoal drawing pieces, however I also work in acrylic or graphite. I primarily do figures and portraits, as I always have been drawn to figurative work.

I typically find out what their skill level is and what they'd like to learn first, and then we align their weaknesses with their strengths. We set up goals, and then we meet those goals with flying colors!

Details
It is $20 per hour! I typically have 60 minute lessons, but if I were to do 90 minute lessons they would be $30 per lesson.
