I have a classical art education from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. I have been a working artist for 20+ years, and have been teaching art and art history for the last 7 years. I have had a variety of students, from kinder to adults, and I LOVE passing on my love of the arts through teaching!

I love to take the time to get to know my student. Every person has different needs and motivations, and a different learning style! I prefer to find out what my student's goals are, then formulate a plan to accomplish those goals!
I have worked with children and adults of all experience levels.
When looking for an instructor, you have to find someone who is willing to offer both encouragement, and cosntructive criticism. You also need to look for a teacher who is able to sense what each student needs, as this is different for each person. A 6 year old and a 45 year old have different needs and goals for their instruction. Find a teacher who can help both.
