About Loren

I am a student of art, constantly honing my craft in classes, reading and practice. My lessons come with an art history backround, and a inate full devotion to art. I have been a successful artist, and painter having has shows in New York and Philadelphia, and work has been sold on several continents

I am patient, and enjoy giving my students the confidence to work hard at their practice. I do not believe in talent, I believe in practice. I am experienced is painting, drawing, design and art history. With my art lessons we focus on the desire to be an artist and the practice and time put forth.

I am happiest when painting or talking about art, spending time sharing my passion with you is a great addition to my practice

I have a BFA, and continue to take classes through the museums around the country. I also teach publicly for many non profit organizations, as well as presentations on artists and female art.

About the lesson

We spend some time talking about personal goals and difficulties. Then we structure classes to get you closer to those goals. Learning about techniques, tone, color and composition. Each class you will set up some sort of object or image to draw/paint. We also spend time discussing artist who inspire, and I like to find new artists that might help your process .
