About Benjamin
For the past nine years I have been a certified classroom teacher. Prior to that I have worked with all ages in school-based settings, children's museums, and voluntary youth sports/camps organizations. I also have over 10 years of youth sports coaching experience for ages 6-18. Additionally, I have been involved with SAT/PSAT support for students, summer programs, and other student support centered work. My passion has always been working with and supporting young learners in an active and engaging way in order to help them grow and reach their full potential.
I received my Bachelor's degree from Providence College and my Master's degree in Education from the University of Bridgeport. I have been a certified classroom teacher for the past 11 years and I've taught at the high school level for the last nine of these years. I have a daughter who is going into 4th grade and I've been an active mentor/tutor to students in her grade level as well.
