About Bruce

I'm an experienced teacher of English. I've taught for 6 years to students of all ages. My speciality is teaching vocabulary and conversational English for school and job improvement. With phonics, and grammar, together with pronunciation correction, I can help you to improve rapidly.

My passion is the English language, and I enjoy teaching.

Whether you're studying English for an exam, or for career reasons, I can move you forward to success. If you want to see rapid improvement while having fun, give me a call.

I love the personal contact with students from different countries and cultures. We learn so much from each other.

I enjoy seeing the progress and improvement in my student's ability, and sharing with them the success we have achieved by working together.

Learning should be fun as well as work, and I enjoy both.

I'm a NES (Native English Speaker), with a deep understanding of my subject. Whether you are a beginner or studying for a high-level degree, I can help you improve.

My earlier business career enables me to teach Business English to adults looking to get promotion or a better job.

I began teaching in Thailand in 2014, in a primary school. I moved from there to a much bigger school, where I was the teacher of basic English to 23 classes of kindergarten children, from K1-K3.
After two years I moved to high schools, with as many as 3500 pupils, teaching at the final year (pre-university) level.
Thereafter I spent almost two years teaching online with SayABC where I completed 1730 paid classes.

Four years teaching in Thai and Cambodian schools and Language Clinics, followed by two years of online teaching to children in China.
I studied English 1 at university, and have spent a lifetime reading and furthering my knowledge.
I have a 140 hr TEFL from the UK, and a TOEIC test result of 990. (Maximum result)

Language Level asessment.
Understanding their aims and expectations.
Designing a program tailored to each student
Preparing material to use in the teaching sessions.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation.

I've taught children from 3 years up to 19 years of age, in Kindergarten, primary, high school and university levels.
I've also had experience teaching adults with great success.

I would advise a student to look about for a suitable teacher to match their requirements. I advise a trial lesson or two in order to see if the teacher matches their expectations, and where they can assure themselves of a favorable teaching experience with the desired outcome.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What part of my English ability do I need to work on most?
What resources do I have to help myself?
Can the teacher deliver the kind of lesson that will benefit me most?
Are the lessons affordable?
Does the teacher instil confidence in me that they are the right teacher to help me?
Can I learn English and have an enjoyable experience?
