About Rachel
Hi there! My name is Rachel and I am a physical therapist going through some career changes. This means I get to do some fun jobs like tutoring on the side! I have a bachelor of science in kinesiology from the University of Maryland and a doctorate of physical therapy from Columbia University. I would very much like to work with kids in person; but in light of my location and hours, online is probably more feasible.
I love learning! Growing up, my parents would spend hours with me every night doing my homework. I learned differently from other kids, but my parents knew better. It is because of those hours every school night that I got a doctorate at Columbia University in New York City! Now, I learn new things every day! It has and always will be a part of me. Curiosity always wins! I think all kids have their way of learning, and it is amazing to be a part of that journey!
