About Laura
Since I began tutoring high school, I have consistently put my teaching skills to work. Over the past seven years, I have served as an elementary school reading tutor as well as a Peer Leader for college freshmen. I even honed my skills by leading adults on literary tours in Times Square and Downtown Manhattan!
I recently graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Theatre Performance, with minors in Musical Theatre and Arts Administration. In addition to my theatrical studies, I continued to pursue my love of english and social studies by taking additional courses including, Shakespearean Literature, Shakespeare & Film, Journalism: Law & Ethics as well as Classic Greek History & Literature.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would reccommend the student throughly consider their long term and short term learning goals. While short term learning goals (like upcoming tests) are important, it is equally important to address long term goals (like improved spelling or grammar). Learning is a lifetime commitment! Not just teaching to the test.
