About Jared
I love learning, and I love seeing other learn. I have a passion for helping children succeed. I especially like teaching kids to read. I've taught in a private school for seven years, and have taught a variety of grades, mostly middle school. While I specialize in reading, I also tutor grammar and mathematics for middle school as well.
I've taught first grade for two years and took a summer course for teaching learning to read. I use many of the Orton Gillingham methods of learning.

I meet for a free consultation and show my learning plan, and curriculum if applicable, as well as collect any needed information from the parents. We find the gaps and begin on their level of understanding to fill in those gaps in an incremental, easy to understand process.
