About Erin
My goal is for you to achieve your goals. While I can't make you the Valedictorian of your class, that's all on you and the work you put in, I can help you to look at learning with different eyes. You can become an expert in any subject if you look at it with the right eyes. It's my goal, to help you find that path allowing you to achieve your short-term and long-term goals.
I love seeing people succeed! When it clicks for a student, the look on their face is priceless. I personally feel a sense of accomplishment when someone I am helping starts to improve and excel.
I have tutored fellow students, and other junior high / middle school students. I am not a licensed teacher. I am someone who has knowledge on a multitude of subjects and has always been happy to help others achieve a higher level of knowledge and accomplishment in their studies.
I have an Associate in Science, along with hundreds of other college credits. I am an honor society student (Pho Theta Kappa) along with National Society of Collegiate Scholars member.
I am a life long learner who is currently working on my BS-Nursing. I have assisted fellow classmates with help understanding classes and assignments. I enjoy learning to my core and enjoy helping others understand and learn, even more.

Speak with the student about what they feel they excel at and where they are struggling. From there, I find a way to relate the areas where they struggle to where they excel. Every single person has a bit of genius in them, the trick is to find that and expand it to incorporate areas where they seem to struggle.
I've worked with college student to elementary students assisting them with a broad spectrum of subjects.
Make sure you can connect with the teacher / tutor. You are paying for a service and have many choices. In order to achieve your goals, it's critical that the person helping you is willing and able to understand you and your needs.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ask about teaching styles and flexibility. What works for one student doesn't work for everyone. Ask about how they get started with the process of teaching and how they measure progress.
