I live for that AHA! the moment when my students first understand a new concept or see how the lesson applies directly to their lives. I get excited when students see improvement or when they are able to struggle through to mastery. Because I teach communication skills, I see this on a regular basis. As these successes build on one another my students grow in confidence. Helping students discover their strengths and then develop those strengths into regular habits of mind is extremely rewarding for me. Knowing that I have helped students move forward with skills they will use for the rest of their lives are gratifying and truly fulfilling for me

When working with a prospect, the most important aspect of the entire process is building a rapport. At this point in time, students have potentially struggled with various topics, so the importance of instilling confidence in them before any tutoring begins is essential to their success. Nevertheless, prior to scheduling sessions, I like to meet with the student and/or parent(s). We work hand in hand to build their specialized plan of action. Students create a detailed description of their current situation and their desired results. Next, we come up with a set of goals and how to implement the plan of action appropriately in order to accomplish said results. This plan depends on the immediate needs of the student, but many plans include some sort of accommodation to pre and post-session communication inorder to track progress
Beginners and advanced students
While I was Egypt Teaching English, there was this very shy girl who couldn't speak a word of English, But she was ready to put all her efforts to learn it, and that's what made me curious and I was ready to offer all the help she needs to learn the language.
