About Payton
I'm a senior at ucf who has been tutoring for 3 years. My major is in biology, but I also have a passion for English. I can teach you excellent study skills, as well as teach specific concepts.
That moment when the eyes of a student who has been struggling for ages with a particular concept light up in recognition. They are finally getting the hang of it. I've been that student struggling for so long to just have it click into place one day. It's great to help pass that feeling of finally getting it into others.
The first person I ever tutored was my little brother. He struggles with English, especially essay writing. So I started out teaching him tips on how to write effective essays and edit his own work. Then I started helping other students his age and even some my own age who struggled with English or Biology.
