About Shawn

I am both an educator in the sciences, in the world around us, and the person inside us. I teach biological and environmental sciences to teach about us and our interaction with the world we live in. I teach about our social environemt, and our ability to be a part of what shapes our community dependin g pur correct and factual history and the relationship we share with one another and our environment. Also, I am a profesional performer, and musician whoe speciaizes in drums, percussion, and different types of vocal talents. I have a passion for our planet and its functions, our history and delicate future, and the talents whichnarrowed doen to its minutia to help both increase our learning base for professional or educational credentials. I also love to show anyone and everyone, that we also have some inner talents which can be either a hobby, an educational or professional componenet, or even to make a little money showcasing a talent which we developed for ourselves and for others to enjoy. I have Bachelors Degree in Environmental Policy,

Environmental Resource Management. I have an Associates Degree in Cellular and Molecular Bioilogy, and an Associates Degree in Laboratory Management. I have Masters Studies In Environmental and Agricultureal Education/Engineerting. I have 5 years experience as a County Extension personnel from the niversity of Florida where my work wad to educate residence and professional in the topics of Turfgrass and Environmental Horticultute Management. I was thr Director of the Escambia County Florida Environmental Education Program for 5 years. I was the Escamb ia Cunty Earth Day Organizer for 5 years. I was the State Presisdent of the Florida Pollution Prevention Roundtable for two years. I currently am a Mater Gardner, a Certified Arborist, and a Certified Traffic Control Engineer. I hsve written over $500,000.00 worth of Federalm and State Grants, and have managed over 500 people in my downline in my career.

About the lesson

I spend the first lesson getting to understand one anohter on a personal level to a point where conversation flows. Yes, I am the tutor. I am nt the Teacher. I am here to help not only yur knowledge base, but your ability to critical think, and undertsnad any and everyone's different style of communication and directives. That takes a bit of time to develop the raport and trust that t tutor/learner need to have.
