About Ellen
Cirque Dakota is Sioux Falls' Premier Aerial Arts studio. Our instructors have years of training in several circus disciplines including (but not limited to):
Aerial Fabric/Silks & Rope
Aerial Hammock/Sling
Aerial Hoop/Lyra
Acroyoga
Handbalancing
Contortion/Flexibility Training
Juggling
Pole
Clowning/Physical Theater
Our aerial instructors are all certified through Circus Arts Institute in Atlanta, GA, an ACE recognized teacher training program. And our owner, Ellen Davis, is a graduate of Aloft Circus Arts' Full Time Professional Training program, where she specialized in aerial silks and handbalancing.
We hold weekly classes, and offer private lessons depending on availability. If we are unable to accommodate your request, we are happy to refer you to someone who might be able to assist you.

Ellen Davis began training aerial fabric in Kentucky in 2014 and instantly fell in love with the sport. She knew early on that she wanted to share her passion with others, so in the Fall of 2015, Ellen successfully sought certification to teach Beginner Aerial Fabric. After privately teaching for a few months, Ellen founded Cirque Dakota LLC and opened classes to the public on February 1st, 2016.
As students progressed, Ellen continued her own training and became certified to teach Intermediate Aerial Fabric in July of 2016.
As Cirque Dakota grew, Ellen brought on students Joscelyne and Tasha as instructors.
Instructors are Certified to teach beginner and intermediate fabric by Circus Arts Institute, an ACE recognized teacher training program.
Owner is a graduate of Aloft Circus Arts' Full Time Professional Training Program.
Instructors are CPR and First Aid certified.

We offer regular intro to aerial silks classes and flexibility classes. Registration is through Mindbody, and the link can be found on our website.
