About Jayda
*I am a lover of the French Language and cutultur.
* I have been studying the langauge for 6 years now. I am a current double major in French and English at my University.
*I have always had a knack for teaching and helping other prosper, so what better way to help than to tutor in my favorite language!
* I am apart of the language immersion program at UMD.

My family used to own a private school until I graduated from 8th grade. They have been involved in the education system all of my life and it inspored me to do the same. I love to learn as well as to help and teach others.
I currently work for BellXcel when I am on break from school, so I have great experience working with youth. I am apart of the immersion program, so I am quite proficient in French. I also tutor friends who want to learn the language in their free time.

When working with a new student, I typically begin with testing their knowledge on the topic at hand. Following this step, I like to ask what their strengths and weaknesses are as well as ask them what type of learner they are in order to cater to their needs as best as possible. I like to shape the lessons around the student, so they are able to learn in an enjoyable way.
I have worked with kindergarten through college student, and even adults.
I have experience with children with learning disabilities as well.
Choose a teacher who caters to your needs as a student as well as your style of learning. If the teacher does not make the topic interesting for you as a student, it will be quite difficult to learn new information taught by the teacher.
