About Andrea
As an alumn of Cornell University, I've had the chance to learn from world-class teachers and peers and see the different methods of how people teach others. As a Government major, most of my classes were literature and writing heavy, giving me the chance to hone my skills. English is a hard language, but with the right help and guidance, it can unlock a world of deeper knowledge and understanding. I've helped many students edit their essays, reviewed cover letters, and statements of purpose for graduate school, not only at my college but those that also go to colleges outside of mine. As an immigrant, I've had to learn the nuances of English and how to teach those to others. In turn, I help older immigrants that go back to college by explaining texts, getting them to build their English skills with help, and giving robust feedback.
