About Rachel
Are you sick of people having a difficult time understanding you, despite years of practicing and using the English language? If so, I am here to help!
My name is Rachel, and I am a speech language pathologist with experience providing speech and language therapy to all ages. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders in 2015 from University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, and with my master's degree in communication sciences in disorders in 2017 from University of Minnesota, Duluth. I am licensed to practice in Minnesota and have worked both in educational and medical settings.
Analyzing communication patterns and helping others reach their accent goals is my passion! I will work with you to create an individual plan to meet your speech and language needs and teach you the skills to independently listen and self correct your speech--so you can spend less time worrying about your accent and more time doing the things you love!

The first meeting will be an opportunity for my students to share their goals for accent reduction therapy, and I will talk about my typical process for future sessions. I will work with my students to create a plan that meets each of their unique accent needs. This plan will include teaching my students how to listen and build awareness of their speech and language.
