About Andrew

Hallo! My name is Andrew and I love helping people learn the German language. Trust me, it can be lots of fun! While living in Germany, I completed my undergraduate degree in German at Heidelberg University. After returning to the US, I received my teaching certification and began teaching German in the public school system. I also completely a Masters degree in education during this time. In addition, I am a member of and have presented for the American Assosication for Teachers of German, (AATG).

Whether it’s grammar, vocabulary, culture, I love all things German. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of helping many people improve in and excel at the German language, and I’d love to help you too!

After completing my degree in Germany, I earned a teaching certificate in the US as well as a Masters in Education. I began teaching German in the public school system and have love it!

I completed a BA in German in Heidelberg, German and then returned to the United States where I taught German in the public school system and earned a Master's degree in Education.

About the lesson

I have long been a believer that we all learn in different ways. In fact, my Masters in Education focused on differentiation in learning and multiple intelligences. When working with new students, I like to find out not only their goals, but also the ways in which they learn best. That way, I am able to customize their tutoring sessions and maximize their progress and success!

I have worked with young and old, beginners and advanced.

I would make sure that the tutor is able to differentiate the lesson to your needs as well as make the lesson interesting and fun!

Students should consider what goals they wish to meet and also what areas of the language interest them the most. Students should think about the modes in which the learn best.
