About Betty

All sessions include on course instruction. Sessions include strategy and management skills that can be applied to Life, not just the golf course. Confidence building is a key element of instruction along with developing leadership skills for young and old alike.

Golf doesn’t need to be complicated...let’s put more fun into practice and play.

I have played golf since I was 8 years old. I was also fortunate to receive a full scholarship for golf to the University of Missouri. While there I participated in college level tournaments and other amateur events.

I am now an LPGA teaching professional and am devoted to growing the game of golf and help students have more fun when playing and practicing.

About the lesson

I want to get to know each student’s WHY? Why do they want to learn or increase their golf skills? Why is making golf a goal important to them? Why is accomplishing those goals important to them?

The answers to these questions help me understand each student and craft a learning program for them on an individual basis.

I work with men, women, juniors, and seniors and i also conduct group lessons.

Make sure the instructor you choose will help you develop life skills like additional confidence and leadership skills.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How does their instruction focus on my goals and needs.

Perfect! Betty has a very positive attitude and is encouraging. She is willing to work with whatever you bring to that days lesson, and communicates her knowledge in a calm and precise way. She teaches you not only swing mechanics but how to approach and play the game. She loves to teach and as a student you can really feel that when you’re with her on the course.

Perfect! I’ve taken 4 lessons, and I’ve already started to see a huge improvement in my game. Betty makes it fun and understands my golf game. She has given me small mechanics to work on that are easy to remember and as mentioned, they have made a huge difference. I have taken lessons from many instructors, and she is by far the best!

Perfect! Betty is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and patient. She constructs lessons targeted for my specific skill level and ambitions as a golfer, and she's quite skillful at scaffolding the coaching so that I don't have to focus on too many aspects of my fledgling game at any one time. She makes it fun while paying incredible attention to her students' development.

My teen daughter has been weekly taking lessons with Betty for over a year. Betty tailors each lesson to my daughter’s pace and skill set and helped her land a spot on her high school golf team this past season! I’ve seen tremendous growth in not only my daughter’s golf skills but also her confidence level ever since she’s started working with Betty as her coach. We’re so grateful to have found Betty!

Upon my first meeting Betty before we even started lessons she said something that would stick with me forever. It was a simple statement, about the important part about golf is having fun and knowing how to get out of the rough. This seemed to me to be a lot like life! She makes golf fun even on my off days! I have gained confidence in learning how to navigate a hole. When I approach any hole now I see it so differently than I ever have. She has changed how I play and given me so many tools that I will keep with me for a lifetime. I have enjoyed my lessons immensely and I am completely addicted to this game. You WILL be out on the course when you have lessons with Betty, no monotonous driving range school. It's super fun!

She has positive, great energy.... is 100 per cent with you during the lesson. I have have learned more from her for the past eight months than I learned from 12 other instructors during the previous 13 years!! I can totally understand and most important ...take away from the lesson and use... every thing she has taught me. I look forward to every lesson and am never disappointed!
