About Patrick

My name is Patrick Orlet. I'm 28 years old and have been playing competitive golf for the last 13 years. I currently compete on the MAGA (metropolitan amateur golf association) mini tour and am a 1.5 handicap.

I am a passionate about this sport and enjoy helping my students improve their games.

I work with golfers of all ages and skill sets and tailor my lessons to each individual. Wheather you're just getting into the sport or are a seasoned player wanting to improve a specific aspect of your game, I'm here to help.

It's my passion to grow and introduce the game of golf to others.

About the lesson

I use the first lesson to assess your skill set, gather feedback, and to understand the what you're hoping to achieve through my lessons. This allows the student and I to come to a mutual understanding of how we'll define success.

During or first session we'll jump right into it. I'll have you hit a couple 8 irons so I can gauge your current skill level. This allows me to determine what aspects of your swing we'll need to focus on. After that you'll focus on 2-3 aspects of your swing, that when corrected should provide some immediate positive feedback.

It's okay to go to a golf instructor being completely hopeless. What I mean is just start! The only way you'll ever get better at this game is putting in the time and effort.

Really it all comes down to trust between an instructor and a student. You have to trust the process and what your instructor is telling you to do. When making any swing change, it's not going to feel natural (hardly anything in this game does!) right away. Find an instructor you believe in and go all in.
