About Tina
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and raised in Bedford, N.H., Tina has called Arizona home since 1980. She started playing golf at the age of 14, and has competed nationally and internationally for over 40 years. Tina graduated from ASU with a BS in Physical Education and a minor in Anatomy and Physiology. A two time NCAA Collegiate All-American, Tina won the 1984 Eastern Amateur, Pac 10 Championship, ASU Sun Devil Championship, and was a 3-time Regional PAC 10 All Conference Team Member. And was ranked Golf Digest top 10 Amateurs in 1984.
Tina qualified for the LPGA Tour in 1987, winning the 1990 LPGA Jamie Farr Classic, and was runner up in the 1993 Sara Lee Classic with a career round of 64 in the final round. In 2004 she became the Director of Instruction at Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa in Phoenix, joined the LPGA Professionals in 2008, and earned her Class A status in 2010. Tina has maintained her Tour membership, and as an LPGA Senior Legends Tour Member she has had two 2nd place finishes.

She is certified in BioSwing Dynamics, Ultimate Golf Lesson, Aimpoint Express Green Reading, Flightscope Launch Monitor, Trackman, V1 Sports, and Ping Certified Club Fitter.
Following a successful career on the LPGA Tour Tina launched The Tina Tombs Golf Learning Center at The Arizona Biltmore Golf Club Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona in 2003. She is blessed with a very loving and supportive husband, two wonderful daughters, loving parents, outstanding coaches, mentors and I feels very fortunate to be able to do what she loves to do.
OUR TEACHING SESSION:
During your private, group, corporate or clinic session we will incorporate a balanced curriculum with an individual emphasis on Bio Mechanics and a personal attention to each of you. Our philosophy is based on proper golf club fitting, peak mental performance training, course management and health fitness. Our ability to customize Instruction and coaching techniques to individual goals, different styles of learning and personal abilities is very helpful and may be just what you are looking for!
