About Daniel
I work hard to make sure that students understand muscial concepts, chords, scales, melody and different styles of music so they can suceed in learning to play the guitar.
I enjoy teaching others how to play the guitar and seeing my students grow. I have been playing guitar for 13 years now and have an Associate's Degree in Audio Production.
I have been teaching at Canton Music School, Rick’s Music World and Whites Music Education Center for 3 years now. I have a passion for music and playing the guitar. I want to share my love of music and help others gain the skills they need to create their own styles of music and succeed in their own unique way
I have been playing guitar and taking lessons for 20+ years now and have taken lessons with a number of different guitar teachers so I understand how they teach different levels of students as well as different styles. I studied Performance at Berklee College of Music and have an Associate's Degree in Audio Production from Lyndon State College. I’ve also been teaching music to students from ages 6 and up for 3 years now.

My typical process for working with a new student is to first understand what they know and what they are hoping to accomplish. I then go over the basics even if they are more advanced to review the fundamentals of the guitar. Then I give them easy pieces to start them off and challenging ones to push them to develop their skills. I teach them musical concepts, chords, scales etc. so they can learn different approaches, develop their style of playing and become a more creative and confident guitar player.
I mostly work with beginners and am very patient with them so they can understand all the concepts of the guitar, piano, vocals or the bass.
I would suggest finding a music teacher who has a similar taste in music but who also can provide knowledge with other styles so they can see which one and which musical styles fit them the best. I would suggest looking for a teacher who is patient and who knows how to present material in a clear and easy way.
I was in a band that performed at Showcase Live. This is a small venue connected to Gillette Stadium. It seats about 150 people and has open area for another 50. I enjoyed the performance here because it has a nice sized audience and was set up in such as way that it was all about the performance. I also performed with another band at the Jungle up in Somerville with a band called Malice in Wonderland.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about what styles, songs and musical concepts they want to learn. They should also think about whether they need any help getting specific sounds out of their amplifiers or guitars. They should also think about how much time and effort they are ready to commit to practicing the instrument and find a teacher that matches that level of focus.

My standard pricing system for lessons are $35 per 30-minute lessons, $40 per 45 minute lessons and $45 for an hour (60 minutes)
