About Ruslan

Hello,

My name is Ruslan Zhurbin and I'm a professional guitarist and tutor. I have a BMus degree in Pop Music Performance from University of West London (1st Class Hons).

Having more than 10+ years of playing with different artists, recording in studios, teaching at all levels (beginners, students, professional musician) I'm sure that I can offer you well-rounded guitar tuition, which combines learning songs, theory, improvisation and technique in a very effective manner, so that my students instantly use all the concepts that I teach.

I have students all over the world and I'm happy to meet new people and share my passion and knowledge about music.

There is a definite excitement when I meet new aspiring musicians or those who have played their instrument from some time. I love to realize that lessons and information that I give help my students to achieve their musical goals effectively in short period.

I always do my best to explain the topic from different perspectives, so that the student can fully understand it and use it in musical context straight away.

I have a Bachelor's Degree (BMus) in Popular Music Performance from University of West London - 1st Class Hons.

About the lesson

Firstly I want to hear student playing (if he can) to check his level.

Secondly I want to find out his musical goals so I can tailor my program to his needs.

Then I give a trial lesson and if a student likes it, we continue from there.
