I really wanted to learn how to play a guitar, but I didn't really know anything about it. Now, I know a lot more about guitar, and I can play a lot of songs with minimal assistance. Mr. Perkins has really helped me a lot with his patience and easy-to-understand methods. He truly is a fantastic teacher.

He's a great teacher. Patient, strict, but often humorous at times. I took flute lessons from him for almost three years. My sound, articulation, music theory greatly improved during that period of time. He tried to broaden my horizon to jazz, but I stubbornly stuck to classical music. He helped lay a good foundation and now, years later, I still remember the skills and techniques he taught me.

"AWESOME" teacher. My 12 years old son has been attending Mr. Perkins class for over 3 years and still enjoying and learning from the masterly skilled musician. With his experience, skills, and talents make him an excellent teacher for all ages. Not only he knows his stuff he is patient with kids, very punctual, and willing to accommodate our busy schedule. The best thing my son look forward to in the week is to attend Mr. Perkins clarinet class. Highly recommended!!!

Mr. Perkins has been teaching my daughter clarinet for the past year. He has a natural way with teaching children, and my daughter has made significant progress in just this short period of time (she was invited to be in honors orchestra). He is a talented musician, and has been a positive influence on our daughter’s musical ability. I highly recommend Mr. Perkins as a musical teacher for children.

It is very rare to have a teacher who is both excellent at teaching and equally as excellent as a musician. Daniel is both of these, and this translates to rock solid progress for his students.
