About Garrett
I am confident in my ability to teach any style of music or any specific songs. Also, to teach music at any level and age. I strive to meet the expectations and goals of the customer. I will provide material and content that keeps the student engaged and excited about music. One of my main objectives is to open the students mind to the world of music while motivating them to set and achieve their own musical goals/aspirations. Since starting 'Make Your Music', I've taught over 3000 hours with about 15-20 weekly students. I wish to find more students to share my passion with and show them a promising path in the world of music.
I have a bachelor degree in music from Texas State University

Introduce them to the 'language of music'. Depending on the student, the objectives will be different. I will evalute the students skill level and see what their initial expectations and goals of getting music lessons were. I will give material that seems most engaging and benificial for their musical progress. It is important to me that the student is excited about the lesson content. I do my best to make the 'learning curve' of music a fun process, to be motivating and a positive influence in the students music journey.
I can teach any age group. Beginner - Advanced. Any style of music for guitar, piano, and bass guitar.

Perfect! Garrett is a good teacher and knows his stuff. I am self taught and he was able to show me some rhythm fundamentals I was not catching on to and some theory I didn’t get/pay enough attention to. He’s also very flexible in scheduling, which is very much needed for me.

Two of my boys are taking lessons from Garrett. One is learning guitar, and one is learning piano. Garrett does an incredible job setting up an environment that motivates, encourages, and challenges my boys. He takes time to listen to their music interests and plans lessons accordingly. They love their lessons with Garrett, and I love that they love playing music.
Instructor, Garrett is super patient and super knowledgeable! He is so well rounded with his craft and really gets students to tap into their creative sides! He actually creates lessons that allow students to play what they really want to play! I am super happy with him and recommend him for music lessons especially with guitar and drums!

Mr.Williams is a very talented and diligent teacher. He understands my son's abilities and caters the piano lessons accordingly. Learning experience with him is fun and entertaining and my son looks forward to his lessons.
