About Summer
Hi! My name is Ms. Summer and I can’t wait to meet your learner(s)! I have several years of teaching experience, both online and in the classrooms of local preschools. I’ve mostly taught young learners (3-12) and ESL/English Language learners, but I love to teach all ages! Right now, I teach art classes online, independently and through OutSchool.com!
Credentials: I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Individualized Studies from Goddard College. I mostly focused on English, Anthropology, and Performance Arts—exploring areas like: child development and psychology; poetry studies; ethnobotany; gender and sexuality studies; and music theory and performance. I also have an IDELT (International Diploma of English Language Teaching), with an emphasis in Teaching Young Learners, from BridgeTEFL.
