About Sebastian

Sebastian Olah originally from Colombia, and now based in Atlanta/Georgia has cultivated a sound of his own, one that represents his multidisciplinary musical background. He is a passionate guitarist with influences ranging from the likes of Joe Satriani, Pink Floyd and Dream Theater. When discovered his passion of music at the young age of 10 he immediately choose the guitar as his main instrument. After 5 years of being in the conservatory, he knew that it was going to be his life-long vocation. He also took private lessons with well known musicians from his city "Cali-Colombia" and perform with different bands to develop more skills.

Through the years, Sebastian has not only developed a love for playing the guitar, but a love of teaching the guitar. At the age of 18 he started teaching a small group in a private school "Lycee FranCais Paul Valery" and quickly started getting inquiries for private lessons. Sebastian always keeps his focus on the needs and interest on the individual student, and finds creative ways to make lessons fun and interesting.

Sebastian has also a passion for DJing and create beats. His knowledge and taste of music has help him create organic sounds and hypnotic grooves .

After spending lot of hours in the studio and experiencing in different atmospheres he has developed his own vision of Music and he perform in different events and festivals around the country.

I love working with my students because I think that is very important to leave a mark in ours lives and it feels really nice to be able to help people to acheive want they want and being able to coach them the right way. It always makes me really happy to see my students growing and learning.

I started theaching back on 2010. I was teaching kids from middle school on the after school program.

I went to the conservatory for 5 years. Also had private lessons. I went to shool for Audio Engineering.

About the lesson

The process will depend on the student. But I always check first where the student is on relation with music and the topic he's intereted in. When I know what is the student mayor interest and knowledge I developp his study plan.

I have worked with all type of students. No matter if their beginner, intermediate or event foreign. Music is one language and there's always something new to learn.

Good teachers are always willing to go above and beyond. They always make sure your understand the material of study and if they need more assistance they will go the extra mile because they are passionate for teaching.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Well they need to think about how the instructor will make an impact on their way to learn what they need.
