About Kevan
Multi-instrumentalist passionate about teaching. Have played guitar, both acoustic and electric, for 10+ years (started out by taking formal lessons myself). Biggest influences are Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer, Cory Wong, Tomo Fujita (and more!). Previously played trombone in Yale Undergraduate Jazz Ensemble during college.
Have a strong passion for teaching, and teaching well. What brings me joy is seeing my students improve quickly and seeing lightbulb moments when concepts suddenly click for them.
Strong experience/background in orchestral and big band jazz ensemble performance through college.
