About David
Voted the #1 Guitar Instructor on Boston's South Shore 9 years running from 2013 to 2021! All ages, levels, and genres. We can discuss guitar (I also teach bass, ukulele, sax, drums, and voice), recording, songwriting, performing, theory, and more. I teach people how to wear all the hats and how to become successful in all areas of music regardless of where you want to take it. If your goal is to be a full-time musician, great. If you just want to sit on your couch and play guitar while watching a baseball game, also great. We will learn a great deal during our lesson time, but we'll also have a great deal of fun. I know how to keep a good balance.
The best part about what I do is the ability to share the knowledge I've learned over the years and pass along the traditions deeply embedded within our art.
I started as a kid showing my friends how to play songs and realized I had a knack for talking about music and teaching.
I have two degrees from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA), one in Guitar Performance and the other in Recording Production.
I have been playing guitar for quite some time, but I also play bass, drums, piano, and saxophone.
I'm a songwriter, an engineer, and I also own a small independent label called Mojo Highway Records.

I like to meet up with new students and quickly learn about what got them interested in guitar, where they see themselves as a player after a year, what they have for goals, and to chat about music.
All types of students interested in all types of music with an age range between 5 and 75.
Play music beacuse you love it and love how it makes you feel. That's the only reason I got into this and it has done me well.
I released my new album in July 2020 called "Side Tracked". You'll be able to find it on all the streaming platforms.

Amazing teacher!
I first heard David on Spotify (check out his album - Side Tracked) and then wanted to take some lessons with him and was happy to find him here. We've only been working together a short time, but it has been great. Highly recommended.
While being a great player he's also a great instructor. I've added so much to my personal approach as a guitarist with him.
The guy really has his stuff together. We work on exercises, theory, songs, songwriting, and everything that it takes to be a great guitar player! I *highly* recommend working with him.
