I am a beginner harp student and started lessons with Ms. Terada in February 2020. Prior to starting, Ms. Terada helped me find the perfect and affordable instrument in local Los Angeles area. She walked me through step by step what to purchase, how to take care, and everything else. Then, he recommended purchasing beginner music and technique books. Everything was very organized and structured. She was so kind and went above and beyond.

I particularly enjoyed studying with Ruriko because she truly cares about the music - there's no blazing through repertoire with reckless abandon just to reach some supposed next level. Instead, Ruriko takes the time to really dive deep into repertoire and make sure I understand the meaning and nuance of each piece, helping me to play each piece at my best technical and musical ability.
