About Shanon
I began the service of affordable equine therapy, beginner horseback riding lessons in the western disciplines, leisure riding & cart driving with Clydesdale horses, as well as light horses six years ago.
I have owned, shown & rode horses for over forty five years. I have rescued over thirty horses in the last eleven years from all types of situations. Rehabilitating, building trust issues, retraining & simply proving to them that humans will never fail them again.
I then, give these rescue horses their time to truly shine by offering them to individuals of all ages to participate in many different perspectives & abilities. In Loving horses one lesson at a time!
our Facebook page is Claystone Stock Farms Inc. & our current website claystonestockfarmsinc.com
Literally every aspect! 🤩
I choose to begin to enable more individuals the affordable opportunities to share in the United passion for horses 🐴
Over forty five years experience in horsemanship on many levels.

I spend ample time introducing any new individuals & getting a good idea of where they are in terms of experience, ability, confidence & skill level. Before making the decision which of my very diverse herd each individual will begin their journey.
At this point, the sky is the limit & the amazing experience begins!
I have a wide variety of students.
Ages three years old & up. Special needs & elderly alike. I also own several draft horses to accommodate people of all sizes & shapes.
Come On Out & The Amazing Adventure Shall Begin! 🤠
We recently host a young Daisy Girl Scout troop of eighteen girls. That was an incredible adventure! All eighteen earned their animal care badges indeed.
Also a bus load of residents from a local assisted living facility came & we painted my "white horse."
I have many fond memories with individuals weekly here as my students find the confidence & happiness in Loving horses one lesson at a time 🤠
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
When you see yourself a seasoned rider, how do you see yourself riding? What kind of interactive horse relationship are you hoping to achieve?

Shannon is a great teacher! She is very knowledgeable in what she does and always makes you feel comfortable on the horses. I always look forward to my riding lessons!!
Shannon and Mike at Claystone are like family to me. They take such good care of my boy and I always feel welcome to come visit hang out with the 4 legged kind. Hands down best place best people best care and interest in their animals. The pride shines deep here. Love you Claystone
Shanon is very knowledgeable, kind hearted, supportive, funny, full of joy, happiness, and laughter! As her first student she supported my dreams to run barrels and anything else I wanted to do!
Friendly atmosphere, horses are well trained, shanon is so friendly and outgoing! Always a welcoming environment
Absolutely love everyone at Claystone. My daughter has been going for about 3 years now. She has learned so much and not only has she made a bond with the horse she's been riding (Sal) she's made a bond with the family who truly have a big heart and such a great love for their horses and their extended family. ( All theriders )
Highly recommend them !View more recommendations
