About Matthew
We meet once a week on Fridays for kids of wages fro 4-15 and all abilities. I teach traditional Kung fu and always make it fun at the same time. We are not an intense competitive school. Sifu Matthew is teacher throughout the school year and runs Brookhaven Country Day Camp in the summer.
I started teaching kids classes at the school that I trained at and fell in love with teaching Kung fu. That turned into teaching adults but I much prefer teaching kids.
Involved in martial arts my entire life, I have a masters in education and special education and I have worked at the same summer camp for 33 years.

I have worked with kids that have all different abilities. As a special education teacher, I am knowledgeable and equipped to teach any child.
Look to have a connection with the instructor, it's very important.
