About Jaida
Hi, I'm Jaida! I am currently studying medicine, and I want to dedicate my free time to my true passion, teaching. My own academic journey taught me the value of guidance. I was once a student who relied on reaching out to others to overcome my weaknesses and grow alongside my peers. Having walked that path, I deeply enjoy engaging with students and helping them navigate their own struggles. My goal is to pay it forward by facilitating their learning, building their confidence, and helping them become better, more resilient students overall.

I’ve been teaching since November 2024, working both full-time and part-time at a few language centres. I mainly focus on three languages: Mandarin, English, and Malay, and my students range from 3-year-olds to those over the age of 12. Academically, I hold qualifications in SPM (Malaysian National High School Exam), UEC, and a Foundation in Science. While my main strength is my fluency in all three languages, I am also highly proficient in Math, Additional Math, and Science. Teaching is definitely my passion; I always make sure my students genuinely understand and remember what I teach them. I make it a habit to revise my teaching materials before every lesson, tailoring them to my students' specific weaknesses and needs. Because students often have mixed academic profiles, strong in some areas but struggling in others. I believe it is crucial to pinpoint their exact weak spots and curate a personalized learning pathway for them. Additionally, as a naturally outgoing and communicative person, I incorporate meaningful conversation into my teaching approach. Building this rapport ensures my students feel comfortable and safe showing their academic vulnerabilities to me.
