About Bob

We cater to each persons abilities and build up from there.
Smaller class sizes for better understanding and instruction.
Builds confidence, coordination, self control, positive attitude, and improves health. Martial arts is more than punching and kicking. It's about self discovery.
Other than being a self defense system Kajukenbo has helped me find myself. Helps me be a good person, to be the best I can be each day. Mind, body, and spirit. I enjoy not only sharing the physical knowledge but the collaboration of reaching a tough goal together. I am not concerned about ranks. I enjoy training. Like I always say, "I've seen great whites belts and crappy black belts. It's the person wearing the rank that I pay attention too."
I have over 40 + years of training and teaching in the Self defense system of Kajukenbo. And 2 years of Tae Kwon Do.

After a face to face meeting and detailed discussion. And if I like what I hear I will then invite them to a couple of classes to observe and maybe participate. All new commers will be treated with upmost respect and instructed in a slow detailed manner to make sure they understand what is expected of them in order to continue their forward momentum. We encourage everyone to ask lots of questions if needed. Sorry we do not teach anyone under the age of 14 years old. Also must go through a maturity evaluation. This is self defense not sport. Mahalo for understanding.

The instruction from Professor Gomez is genuine, and reality based. Everything I have personally witnessed being taught is effective, and could very easily save your life.
