About Philip
Self defense is more than strikes and grappling. It's also a mindset that includes taking in information, communicating, and leading. I teach this, martial arts, and firearms safety and use. That's how I'm different.
I started teaching out of a concern for people and caring about their wellbeing and improvement.

Kids and adults

I recently began the certification process to teach Gracie University programs in combatives, bully proofing for kids, and women's self-defense.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They need to think about their goals and their "why". Goal setting is fine, but goals have a finite life span. Growth is better because it is an ongoing process without an end. Growth > goals
