About Serena
I am a college student who understands how other students need to be taught. I have creative ways for teaching difficult concepts, as well as insights into how tests, homework, and quizzes will be formatted.
I enjoy teaching students and helping them understand more difficult concepts! It's always nice to see the moment when a student finally understands something they did not before!
I am a USC college student and I am working towards a Human Biology major and a minor in Political Science. I have taken 12 AP courses in highschool as well as Chemistry for STEM majors and Calculus in the college setting. I enjoy teaching students and I feel that my explanations are often easy to understand and fun to learn! I am also on the pre-medicine track.

I have study guides, worksheets, and other materials to aid students to achieve their academic bests. When working with a new student, I ask them to send me links or textbooks that they are using for their class, so I can familiarize myself with the specific content and various concepts they are currently learning, and then help to the best of my ability.

You can tell she really understands the material well because she explains concepts that sounded difficult in class in a way that made me really understand it. She also always comes prepared with materials to supplement my learning such as worksheets and study guides. Overall, with her help, she helped me improve greatly in my AP Chem class.
