About Hamzah

My goal in life and as a tutor is to help people achieve success in their daily life, educationally and personally. Although tutoring is to help student pass courses, but what this does is help me make new friends. I always tell people that dont think of me as a tutor but as a friend. My teaching philosophy is that everyone is equal. My teaching pace is slow to the point that I want everyone to follow what I am doing, and I am the type of guy that will stay with the student 24 hours until they are fully confident to self teach themselves the material. I have worked as tutor at my University, The University Of Akron in Akron, Ohio for two years and it has been the best experience. I have also been a learning assistant for few math courses such as calculus 2 and calculus 3. I have expertise in Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3 and differential equations. I do have facebook: Hamzah Syed. I look forward to working with everyone through this platform.

In general I love tutoring, because tutoring gives me an opportunity to be a mentor and a teacher to students of various ages. Through teaching I want to help students gain confidence in many subjects not just in mathematics but various fields. My goal in life is to always have a positive mindset and just always enjoy what you are learning, that is what I want to pass onto every individual. Tutoring also helps me as well in terms of mathematics, because helping students I am practicing the material. As a tutor I am able to help make rigorous material easy for the students. My future aspirations is to become a professor or a High School teacher and through tutoring I am preparing myself for this sort of career.

I became a tutor at The University Of Akron and through that I started doing one on one sessions in mathematics.

I am a Math Tutor at my University, The University Of Akron in Akron, Ohio. I hold a learning Assistant position in Calculus 2 and Calculus 3. I have taken courses such as Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3 and differential equations. I currently doing my undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics.

About the lesson

I work with students using a whiteboard, I show techniques that help the student understand. I stay with student day and night until they finally feel that they are ready to teach others. I prepare study notes for students and I do examples on the whiteboard

I have mainly worked with undergraduate students and high school students.

Just see if the teacher fits your requirement, like you want a teacher who can teach you the material really well and not just pound concepts and mainly he should respect your learning style. That is what I do, I respect my students, I treat them as friends not as students. I want every student to think of me as a mentor.
