My typical process of working with a new student is to access the student's rubric and workload for the course. From there we work together to create a plan of learning that the student feels invested in.
I have primarily worked with community college students.
Like any service provided the student should feel comfortable and confident with their tutor. It is important to me that the student feels that I am invested in their learning. Students and parents should interview tutors to determine if they are the right fit.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What is their availability is for scheduling purposes? Why does the student feel they need tutoring? Have they identified weak areas they might need additional support in? What learning style works best for them?
