About Abhi
I have always loved tutoring either my peers or even my little sister. I tend to understand the different ways people my age or youinger, learn and understand different mathematical concepts. I have been tutoring my sister for about a year and a half and have gotten her grades up from a mid B to a low A in middle school algebra. I have also tutored a couple of children within my community and have helped better their grades as well. Some qualifications include a 34 on the ACT and have maintained top 5% in my Allen High School class. I have a overall GPA of 4.3 and I am involved in many clubs such as DECA and NHS.
I love dispersing the knowledge I have learned througout my last couple years in high school. This not only makes me happy it also makes the student (and their parents) happy. Once the student understands a difficult concept, it tends to peak their interest in a subject they once dreaded learning. That is what I love about tutoring children.
I have gone through every math class in middle and high school with a high A in each. These classes include Middle School Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Statistics.

When working with a new student, I tend to ask what concepts they need clearing up and work towards either explaining how to solve certain problems on their homework. I continue by assigning a little homework to get extra practice on those certain topics to be able to progress through the curriculum.
